- During onboarding, your admin configures metre types and service thresholds per asset type or asset. For example, you might set a service trigger at every 250 engine hours for excavators and every 10,000 km for vehicles. The configuration is done in the asset settings and applies automatically as readings are recorded.
- Can metre-based and calendar-based maintenance be combined?
- Yes. MapTrack supports both metre-based and calendar-based (time-based) preventive maintenance schedules on the same asset. For example, an oil change could be triggered by whichever comes first: 10,000 km or 6 months. This gives you flexible service logic that matches manufacturer recommendations.
