Alex co-founded MapTrack and leads the engineering team. In 2022 he rebuilt the platform from the ground up, incorporating 10+ years of direct feedback from field teams and 300+ customer research sessions. His focus is on building a system that works reliably in the conditions operators actually face: low connectivity, rough environments and mixed asset types from hand tools to heavy plant.
MapTrack runs on a mobile-first, offline-capable architecture designed for field environments. It supports QR code and barcode scanning, GPS tracking via OEM telematics integrations, pre-start inspection forms, maintenance scheduling and work orders, all syncing automatically when connectivity is restored.
